Two International Scientific Projects Based in Europe and Canada Synergize Research to Address Connections between Genetics and Diseases

International science consortia GEN2PHEN and the Public Population Project in Genomics P3G have signed an agreement to coordinate the participation of 45 genetics based institutions from 25 countries. European based GEN2PHEN and Montreal-based international consortium P3G will be working togehter to harmonize the electronic gathering and use of data showing how gene sequences contribute to inter diseases, drug responses, and other characteristics.

We are glad to announce the launch of the eMLPA online tool, this easy to use software allows you to analyse your MLPA trace files. The software has been developped by the Charles University in Prague, please contact us for more information.
The Gen2Phen funded initiative Cafe RouGE has been renamed Cafe Variome and the public release can be found at website is now online.

The system is designed to provide a safe way to both announce/advertise and discover the existence of disease gene mutations in individual patients, combined with direct reach-through to mutation record data that is shared by open access or controlled access policies set by the data owner. Cafe Variome is a product of the Gen2Phen consortium.
